UAV event in Ukraine on Fri 17th April 2026

On 17 April 2026, at night and during the day, Russian Forces conducted a combination of air, drone, and artillery strikes at the residential areas in the Dniprovskyi and Korabel districts of Kherson city, Kherson. In a strike at 6:30am, a drone dropped an explosive device on a 70-year-old cyclist, he received injuries and admitted to a hospital. In the strike at 7:00am and 13:30pm, a Russian drone struck a public bus, the bus was destroyed by fire but the passengers and the driver were unharmed, a Russian 'Molniya' struck a private house, injuring a 59-year-old woman. During the attacks on Beryslav, Novoraisk, Inzhenerne, Rakivka, Tomyna Balka, Novodmytrivka, Borozenske, Osokorivka, Havrylivka, Novovoskresenske, Urozhaine, Antonivka, Burhunka, Vesele, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Kizomys, Komyshany, Lvove, Mylove, Monastyrske, Sadove, Stanislav, Tokarivka, Khreshchenivka, Chornobaivka, Doslidne, Zelenivka, Naddnipryanske, Sofiivka, Novovorontsovka, Kachkarivka, Kozatske, Odradokamianka, Poniativka, Rozlyv, Tiahynka, Chervonyi Mayak, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka and the city of Kherson: 3 high-rise buildings and 12 private houses were damaged, as well as an outbuilding, a minibus, a private garage and a car. 4 civilians were injured (1 in Novoraisk, 1 in Osokorivka and 2 in Kherson city).
