On 13 April 2026, international forces (coded as unidentified military forces) and government security forces (SNA) launched an airstrike against Al Shabaab position in Tarda village (Jalalaqsi, Hiraan). A mother and her three children were injured when a missile struck a residential area. Residents indicated that Al Shabaab were using civilian homes as cover during the operation. There were no fatalities.
