On 13 April 2026, Russian Forces carried out drone strikes and fired artillery at unspecified targets in Orikhiv, Zaporizhia. Civilian casualties unknown. Russian forces (units of the 'Dniepr' group using operational-tactical aviation, combat UAVs, missile forces, and artillery) struck the Ukrainian personnel and equipment of a mechanized brigade, a mountain assault brigade and a territorial defense brigade (coded to Orikhiv) near Orikhiv. According to Russian sources, Ukrainian military lost: 1 armored combat vehicle, 11 vehicles, 5 electronic warfare stations and up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen were killed near Orikhiv, Zarichne and Novoandriivka [Russian MoD reported 30 fatalities.
