On 11 April 2026, near Lay Kay village (Bilin township, Thaton district, Mon state), the Myanmar military conducted five airstrikes using a Y-12 aircraft and a jet fighter and dropped 300lb bombs and fired heavy weapons with 21 rounds of 122mm artillery shells. The attack caused houses to be destroyed by fire. Casualties unknown.
