On 13 April 2026, in Htan Zin village (coded as Shwebo) (Shwebo township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped bombs with a fighter jet that came from Meiktila airbase around 3:20 pm. The bombs fell and exploded at a school where the IDPs were staying. 5 civilians including a 25-year-old pregnant woman and a 30-year-old man were injured. Some houses and the school were damaged.
