On 11 April 2026, in Mindat town (Mindat township, Mindat district, Chin state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped bombs with two fighter jets that came from Tada-U airbase and a fighter jet that came from Magway airbase around 10 pm without an armed clash occurring. Democratic Voice of Burma, and The Voice of Chinland - VOC reported that some locals were killed and injured. Irrawaddy, Khit Thit Media and Khonumthung News reported that a local was killed and at least 10 were injured. Around 20 houses and four cars were destroyed. Fatalities coded as 1, using the lowest estimate.
