Air Delivered event in Lebanon on Wed 15th April 2026

On 15 April 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike in Mayfadoun town (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh). Ambulance teams affiliated with the Islamic Health Society (Hezbollah-affiliated) were dispatched to the area, and was targeted while attempting to rescue wounded people in the town, leading to the killing of one paramedic. Another ambulance team was dispatched to the area to treat the wounded paramedic, where it was also targeted injuring three paramedics. In a third rescue attempt, two ambulances from the Islamic Risala Scouts Association (Amal Movement-affiliated) and Nabatieh Emergency Services responded, but they too were targeted, resulting in the killing of two paramedics and the injury of three others. In total, four paramedics were killed and six others were injured with one remaining missing.
