On 14 April 2026, midnight, two remotely operated, improvised explosive devices detonated in the Salsabil and Jeyhoun areas, near Azadi, Khomeini Street, Haftchenar, Yadegar, and the Imam Khomeini intersection areas near a Basij checkpoint in Tehran - District 10 (Central, Tehran) by unknown perpetrators (coded as unidentified armed group). A third device was defused. State officials claimed the incident occurred 'at the hands of traitorous and unpatriotic elements.' Some sources claimed the tactics of the attack are similar to those of MKO. The explosions slightly injured three people, including a Basij member. Officials added that the explosion broke the windows of three houses and caused minor damage to two cars. This event occurred following the two-week ceasefire agreed between the US, Israel, and Iran. There were no fatalities.
