On 4 April 2026, in Kyar Pyit Kan village (Pauk township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myanmar military column returning from delivering supplies to Pyu Saw Htee villages conducted drone strikes. The drone strike injured 5 village residents from Kyar Pyit Kan village and Zan Yway Kone village. There were no fatalities.
