An official from the Gangaw Township People's Defense Force, Naga Nyi Naung group, told Yangon Khit Thit News Agency that one soldier was killed when they attacked a terrorist military base in Shauk Pin Village, Gangaw Township, Magway Region, with heavy and light weaponry.

On April 16, revolutionary forces launched an attack on the base where terrorist military troops and Pyu Saw Htee militia members were stationed in Shauk Pin Village. During the assault, one soldier from the terrorist military was killed and many others were injured, while the revolutionary comrades were able to withdraw without casualties.
