At least three security officials were martyred and three bystanders sustained injuries following an IED blast targeting a security forces vehicle on Indus Highway near Barm Khel area on Saturday.

According to police reports, the convoy was traveling from Peshawar toward Bannu when explosion occurred.In immediate aftermath, security personnel cordoned off the site to conduct a thorough investigation and search operation.
