Air Delivered event in Kayin State, Hpapun Township area, Myanmar on Wed 15th April 2026

Four people were killed by military bombings in Hpapun District, and residents of four villages are fleeing due to ongoing bombings in Kyaukkyi Township. On April 15 and 16, the military conducted heavy air strikes and dropped bombs on Khin Pa village in Luthaw Township, Hpapun District, destroying a school and several homes, according to a statement released by the Karen Education and Culture Department on April 17. More than 50 bombs were dropped on the village using two fighter jets and two Y-12 aircraft. As a result of the military's attack, the village's middle school was completely destroyed, and homes were burned down. Furthermore, local sources reported that four residents were killed and more than 10 others were injured.
