SAA event in Lebanon on Sun 19th April 2026

On April 19, 2026, a dispute erupted in the town of Buday, Baalbek, involving gunfire that resulted in one citizen being wounded and another killed. Following this, and after security surveillance and monitoring operations, an army unit raided the homes of those involved in the dispute on April 20, 2026, and arrested citizen (H.Sh.). As part of ongoing security measures, another unit conducted a raid on the homes of wanted individuals in the town of Dours, Baalbek, and seized a quantity of ammunition. An investigation has been launched with the detainee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities, and efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining individuals involved.
