Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence struck two Russian large landing ships and destroyed an enemy radar station in occupied Sevastopol, Crimea, overnight into April 19, the military intelligence reported.

Special unit Prymary hit the Project 775 large landing ship Yamal (built 1988, length 112.5 meters, cargo capacity up to 500 tons) and the Project 1171 large landing ship Nikolai Filchenkov (built 1975, cargo capacity up to 1,000 tons).

Both vessels were in Sevastopol Bay at the time of the strike. Approximate value: Yamal — over $80 million, Nikolai Filchenkov — over $70 million.

According to the intelligence, both ships had been actively used by Russia in the war against Ukraine and are now out of service.

In the same operation, Ukrainian intelligence also destroyed a Russian Podlet-K1 radar station in temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The approximate cost of the radar complex is $5 million.
