Local sources report that the Naypyidaw military carried out airstrikes on three townships in Rakhine State starting today (April 19) at around 10:00 AM.

The attacks targeted Ponnagyun, Kyauktaw, and Mrauk-U townships. Residents stated that in Kyaukpyin (Mro) Village, Mrauk-U Township, a monastery was destroyed by fire and one civilian was injured.

The junta's fighter jets bombed Kyaukpyin Village twice today.
