On 8 April 2026, night, UAE forces intercepted 1 ballistic missile fired by IRGC forces targeting the ADNOC Habshan Gas Complex (Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi). As a result of the interception, shrapnel fell causing mild injuries to 3 civilians (2 Emiratis and 1 Indian), and resulting in several fires. The attack resulted also in a temporary suspension of operations at the complex. The IRGC claimed the attack.
