On 4 April 2026, an unidentified armed group detonated an IED, killing 4 civilians and injuring 24 others along the Ngoshe-Pulka area, coded to the nearest town, Pulka (Gwoza, Borno), as IDPs who were early displaced in the month of March 2026 in Ngoshe were returning home.
