On 6 April 2026, Houthi forces in Yemen fired several drones that likely crashed in open areas in the area of southern Israel or did not reach Israeli territory. Coded to Eilat (Beer Sheva, HaDarom). Houthis claim to have launched a 'barrage of cruise missiles and drones targeting several vital and military sites' in Israel. They also claimed that the attempted attack was a 'joint operation' with Iran. Israeli forces intercepted several drones (coded separately) and lost contact with other drones that Houthis launched, meaning they likely crashed in open areas or did not reach Israeli territory.
