UAV event in Iran, Islamic Republic of on Tue 7th April 2026

On 7 April 2026, night, Israeli forces struck unspecified targets in Tehran - District 4, consecutive explosions were heard in Lavizan, Narmak, Heravi, Nobunyad, Pasdaran, and Tehranpars areas (coded as air/drone strikes by default). In several cases air defense was activated, however it is unknown, whether anything was hit/intercepted. Israeli forces were coded as the main actor based on reporting that Israeli strikes focus on western and central Iran, while US operations are concentrated in the south. Israel and the United States launched a joint operation codenamed 'Roaring Lion' by Israel and 'Epic Fury' by the United States on 28 February 2026. Casualties unknown, according to the local sources, one of the unknown targets was located in the residential area of Tehranpars, and that in Golestan area, 3 houses were destroyed. Some locals suspected that an unspecified 'safe house' was hit in the area of Tehranpars.
