On the night of April 17, during a massive attack on Ukraine, one of the Russian drones violated Romanian airspace.

Details : It is noted that Romanian air defense systems recorded two air targets that appeared in the border area.

One of the targets entered the country's airspace, but radar contact with it was lost 16 km southeast of the village of Ciliea-Veche, in Tulcea County, over uninhabited terrain.

The ministry added that Romanian military personnel will launch a search operation in the morning.

The department condemned Russia's actions "which endanger regional security and constitute a serious violation of international law."
