A car has reportedly been shot at in Söderkulla in Malmö. According to police, two people on an electric scooter were seen fleeing the scene. There were two people in the car, but no one was injured in the shooting.
The gunshot alarm came in at 8:39 a.m.
– It is a car that has been shot at at a turning zone. A shot hits the rear window, says Leif Fransson, press spokesman for the police.
Two people were in the car but no one was reportedly injured.
– I have no further information about them or whether they are known to the police before, says Leif Fransson.
Suspected perpetrators fled on electric scooters
According to witness accounts, two people on electric scooters were seen fleeing the scene.
– They describe it as two guys, one wearing a gray rain jacket and another wearing sweatpants, says Leif Fransson.
The police are now securing the crime scene and are manning forces at strategic locations around Malmö to apprehend the suspected perpetrators.
The police announce that they will file a report of attempted murder.
