A man in Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay Region, stabbed a woman to death and injured two other men after entering her home, according to a man with knowledge of the incident.

On the night of April 11, a man in his 20s stabbed a 27-year-old woman with a knife in Pyin Oo Lwin Ward 19, Pyin Oo Lwin.

A man who knew the incident said, "It happened when he was called to the front of the house to see him. When his father and another man came out to see him, he stabbed them both again."

After being stabbed, relevant social welfare organizations arrived and took the woman to a public hospital, where she died from her injuries.

Some news outlets reported that the woman was getting married in the coming days and was stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend, but Shwe Phi Myay has not been able to independently confirm this.
