Lhaingbwe Township, Met Thuaw area: KNLA joint forces attack and capture the military's Kyay Pyawng Kone outpost.

Yangon, April 13

A KNU military news source told the Yangon Khit Thit news agency that KNLA joint forces attacked and captured the Kyay Pyawng Kone outpost of the terrorist military in the Met Thuaw area, Lhaingbwe Township, Karen State.

Today, in the morning of April 13, KNLA and allied joint forces attacked and captured the Kyay Pyawng Kone outpost, which is a guard post of the terrorist military's Point 962 Strategic Hill outpost in the KNU Division 7 Bago Region Met Thuaw area.

The aforementioned Met Thuaw area has only three military outposts of the terrorist military with about a few hundred troops; during the Kyay Pyawng Kone outpost battle, the details of casualties on the terrorist military side and captured weapons have not yet been confirmed; those outposts have been overrun since the time of the KNU headquarters Mana Palaw.

"Barr Arkar District, Division 7 Bago Region, in the Met Thuaw area, KNLA and allied joint forces captured the Kyay Pyawng Kone outpost, which is a guard post of the soldiers' Point 962 Strategic Hill outpost, this morning. There are three military outposts in the Met Thuaw area. The troop strength is only about a few hundred. The details of both sides' casualties and captured weapons are not yet known," said the KNU military news source.

Additionally, on April 7 and 12, KNLA joint forces also attacked and captured the Lat Yat outpost in KNU Division 3 Bago Region and the Lay Kar outpost in KNU Division 1 Bago Region.
