On the eve of Thingyan, fighting broke out at the prayer hill in Mishi Khtaung ward, Phakant town, and the military attacked with three aircraft dropping bombs.

A Phakant local news source told the Yangon Khit Thit news agency that today, on the eve of Thingyan, fighting broke out at the prayer hill in Mishi Khtaung ward, Phakant town, Kachin State, and the terrorist military attacked by dropping bombs from three aircraft, which continue to fly around striking.

Around 1 p.m. today, April 13, at the prayer hill in Mishi Khtaung ward, Phakant town, the terrorist military and KIA joint forces mutually attacked each other with drones, and ground firing also occurred; during that attack, since the terrorist military side suffered hits, it came with three aircraft to bomb and strike.

Two gyrocopters that took off from the Humlin side bombed and struck the prayer hill in Mishi Khtaung ward where fighting was ongoing; it is not yet confirmed whether civilians were hit or the extent of house damage during that attack, and moreover, the aircraft continue to fly around striking.

"The gyrocopters that took off from Humlin dropped bombs—three of them—and the fighting is still ongoing. It started around 1 p.m., and now one gyrocopter is still flying, so I think the soldiers got hurt. Now they're still mutually dropping drones," said the local news source.

Similarly, in the morning of April 11, fighting also broke out between KIA joint forces and the terrorist military at the prayer hill side in Mishi Khtaung ward, Phakant town, and the military continued firing heavy weapons.

Likewise, on April 2, KIA joint forces simultaneously launched attacks on military camps near Mawwun in Phakant town where the terrorist military was stationed, and thus the KIA joint force was able to capture three guard posts near Mawwun Thaingchaing.
