Russian forces attacked a port in the Odessa region for the second time in 24 hours on Monday morning. They hit a civilian ship flying the Liberian flag.

Kiper's direct speech : "The enemy deliberately continues attacks on civilian shipping. This morning, as a result of a repeated strike on the port infrastructure of the Odessa region, a civilian vessel flying the flag of Liberia was hit."

Details : According to the head of the OVA, a hit was recorded in the superstructure of the vessel without subsequent fire. The dry cargo ship was entering the port to load corn.

According to the ministry, a civilian merchant ship was hit by a Russian drone. The crew managed to quickly extinguish the fire. The ship continued its journey and reached the port.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

The ministry stressed that despite the latest attacks, the ports' operations remain stable. Emergency and restoration work is ongoing on the ground.
