Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Haninge area, Sweden on Wed 15th April 2026

Something detonated in or near a villa in Haninge, south of Stockholm, on Wednesday evening. No one was injured, police said.
The alarm about the explosion was received by the police at 10:54 p.m.
Some windows have been broken in the house but no one is injured. The area has been cordoned off and the National Bomb Squad has been called.
Several people in the area have been checked by police.
– The operation continues, we are working to arrest one or more perpetrators and to investigate why this happened, says Anna Lärk, at the Stockholm Police on Thursday morning.
A preliminary investigation into public danger and a serious violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods has been initiated.
