Mizzima.. The All Burma Students Democratic Front (ABSDF) released photos today (April 14) of the weapons and ammunition seized during the battle to capture the Ying Baw Camp, a base camp of the Nay Pyi Taw military in Mae Thaw area, Hlaing Bwe Township, Karen State.

The Ying Bing Outpost is a Kakin camp protecting the Nay Pyi Taw military's Point (962) strategic base, located near the Thai-Burma border, and was finally captured by the revolutionary joint forces on the morning of April 13.

“The Karen National Union (KNU), Brigade (7) area, Hpa-an District, has completely captured the military regime’s Ying Baeng Kone camp in Mae Tha Waw area on the morning of April 13,” the ABSDF said in a statement.

The ABSDF said that comrades from the Central Headquarters Daung Taman Camp participated in the battle to capture the Ying Bawn camp together with the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and allied forces.

According to photos released by the ABSDF, mines, heavy weapons, small arms, military equipment, and large quantities of ammunition were seized from the Yel Bawn camp.

There has been no release regarding the casualties of the Nay Pyi Taw military and the revolutionary forces during the camp capture battle.

Similarly, the Nay Pyi Taw Army's Lay Kay camp in Bilin Township, Mon State was captured by the revolutionary forces after a six-day attack from April 7 to 12, and weapons and ammunition were also seized.
