SAA event in Lebanon on Thu 9th April 2026

The army continues to pursue wanted individuals and those posing a security threat in various Lebanese regions. In this context, a unit from the army stopped three citizens at the Roumieh and Hnaydir checkpoints in Akkar for possessing war weapons, a quantity of drugs, and a sum of counterfeit money. Another unit also stopped four citizens in the city of Beirut for possessing pistols and war ammunition. The seized items were handed over, and the investigation with the detainees has begun under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
