Five suspected members of an armed group were arrested by the Mexican Army after a clash in the community of Mesa de Palma, in the mountains of Badiraguato. According to authorities, the soldiers were conducting reconnaissance patrols when armed civilians opened fire, leading to an exchange of gunfire. After securing the area, the soldiers seized vehicles with improvised armor, satellite internet antennas, drones, and tactical equipment. The detainees and the seized materials were turned over to the Attorney General's Office.
