Russian forces attacked Komyshany in the Kherson region at about 2:30 a.m., according to official reports. The shelling wounded a 64-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman.
"At approximately 2:30, Russians shelled Komyshany. As a result of the attack, a 64-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman sustained blast injuries, concussions, and shrapnel wounds to the torso," the Regional Military Administration stated.
Authorities quickly transported the injured residents to the hospital, where they are receiving necessary medical care.
Throughout the past day, Russian strikes targeted several settlements in the Kherson region, including Antonivka, Sadove, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Rozlyv, Novodmytrivka, Novoraisk, Urozhaine, Lvove, Novokairy, Respublikanets, Tiahynka, and the city of Kherson.
According to the regional authorities, Russian forces used drones, aircraft, and artillery to attack social infrastructure sites and residential neighborhoods.
The strikes damaged at least two private houses in the region. Additionally, the attacks resulted in:
- Destruction of a private garage
- Damage to residents' vehicles
