Two people were injured near the Muntplein in central Brussels last night, presumably from stab wounds or injuries inflicted by another sharp weapon, the Brussels Fire Brigade has confirmed. The circumstances of the incident are still unclear.At around 8.10 pm, the fire brigade dispatched two ambulances and a MUG medical intervention team to the area around the Muntplein, near the Leopoldstraat. The two victims had to be taken to hospital. Nothing is known about their condition.
