A shooting occurred in Helsingborg at midnight on Monday night. Two people, a man and a woman aged 20 and 25, were shot.

– One person has died from their injuries, says Patric Thelander, police officer on duty.

The police received a report of a shooting on Adolfsberg in Helsingborg at 11:47 p.m. on Sunday evening.

– Two people have been shot outdoors, and one has died from his injuries, says duty officer Patric Thelander, when SVT reaches him shortly after three in the morning.

According to a police update on Monday morning, a man and a woman were shot. The man, in his 20s, has died and the woman, who is in her 25s, is seriously injured.

The victims are known to the police already.

The hunt for suspects is ongoing.

The hunt for suspected perpetrators or individuals is ongoing, a technical investigation is being carried out and door-knocking is in full swing to obtain witness information in the area.

The shooting took place in a residential area, but not directly adjacent to any residence.

– We are collecting evidence and we welcome observations around the area, says Thelander.

The location was initially cordoned off, but at 6 a.m. the cordons were removed.
