16th October 2025
Abdulqader Ahmed Azirq
The day before yesterday, 16 October 2025, and with thanks to God and His guidance, a drone belonging to the militia thugs was detonated. It had fallen during the fighting in Al-Jazirah and had remained grounded in the farm of the former Member of Parliament, Mr Mohammed Ali Nimr, from the people of the village of Wad Mahil in the rural area of Al-Haj Abdullah, since last Ramadan, in the Maradi canal area of the Gezira Project.
It was detonated today by an engineering corps team led by Major Khalid in a safe manner.
The people of the Al-Haj Abdullah area extend their thanks and appreciation to the specialist team of the First Division in Al-Jazirah, the security services and intelligence, represented by Colonel Mohammed Abdullah, the security cell in Al-Haj Abdullah, and the Executive Director of South Al-Jazirah locality, all of whom closely monitored the situation until the operation was completed safely.
They also thank brother Hussein Ahmar, who acted as the guiding reference for the work team through his presence. We also congratulate the people of Wad Mahil and neighbouring villages for their patience and close cooperation with the relevant authorities. All praise is due to God for the blessing of security and safety.
