Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Punjab, Bhindi Saida, Amritsar District area, India on Mon 30th March 2026

On March 30, a blast occurred inside a police station complex at Bhindi Saida under Amritsar (Rural) Police in Amritsar District of Punjab at around 1.45 am, reports The Tribune. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gurinderpal Singh Nagra stated forensic teams were examining the site. No casualties were reported, though vehicles inside the PS suffered splinter damage. Two unidentified bikers allegedly hurled an explosive object before fleeing. Security agencies have been put on alert, and CCTV footage is being examined. Similar low-intensity explosions and grenade attacks have targeted Police establishments in border Districts, including Amritsar and Gurdaspur, over the past two years.
