On March 29, Police foiled an attempt to blow up a bridge on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway by recovering explosives in Surab District in Kalat Division of Balochistan, reports Dawn. Officials said, “Eight explosive-laden drums were recovered from beneath the bridge,” adding that around 320kg of explosives had been planted in the drums.
