On March 29, a Rohingya teenager, Abdul Hakim (15), had his right ankle severed in a landmine explosion planted by Arakan Army (AA) at the zero line of Naf River on Balukhali border in Palangkhali Union of Ukhia Upazila (Sub-District) in Cox's Bazar District, reports Prothom Alo. According to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) AA has planted landmines around the char that has risen inside the Naf River, and one of these mines exploded when he stepped on it while fishing.
