A Government school in Ghora village of Bannu District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was destroyed on March 26 in a powerful explosion, reports Dawn. Unidentified terrorists planted explosives at the Government Primary School Noor Jan Baka Khel, located in Ghora village in the Baka Khel area of Bannu, and blew up the building. As a result of the explosion, the school structure was completely destroyed. Police claimed that terrorists were allegedly staying inside the school and were busy preparing an improvised explosive device (IED) when the explosion occurred. However, this claim has not yet been officially confirmed.
