On April 1, Khalistan Liberation Army (KLA) claimed responsibility for an explosion outside Bhindi Saidan Police Station in Amritsar District of Punjab, reports Hindustan Times. The blast occurred around 1.30 am on March 30; no injuries were reported. A poster circulated on social media claimed the attack was to avenge the killing of Ranjit Singh, accused of the murder of two Police personnel in Gurdaspur District. Police officials declined to comment on the claim; a forensic investigation is underway. This was the 10th such incident targeting Police establishments in Punjab since November 2024.
