On the night of April 4, Russian occupation forces struck a residential area in the center of Sumy, resulting in a fire in a high-rise building, 11 victims, including  a child  .

Grigorov's direct speech : "Previously, the Russians struck the regional center with strike UAVs. A fire broke out on the upper floors of a high-rise building in the Zarechny district."

Details : The singer noted that three explosions were heard in the city.

Kobzar's direct speech : "A UAV was recorded hitting an apartment building in the Zarichny district, resulting in a fire.

Another hit was also recorded in a yard in the same area."

According to the head of the Sumy MVA, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, the shooting occurred on the 13th floor of a 16-story building in the center of Sumy.

Update : Grigorov later reported three casualties from the Russian strike. He also noted that people were being evacuated from damaged buildings and posted a video of a high-rise building engulfed in fire.

According to Kryvosheyenko, four people were injured.

Updated : This morning, the State Emergency Service reported that in Sumy, UAV strike aircraft hit a 16-story building and a private residential area.

According to preliminary data from rescuers, the number of victims as a result of the impact reached 7, including a child.

Updated : After 7 a.m., police reported that the number of victims in the overnight strike on Sumy has increased to 11, including  a 15-year-old child.
