SAA event in Mexico on Wed 25th March 2026

An armored patrol of the Mexican Army was attacked by armed civilians in the municipality of Los Aldamas, in the border region of Nuevo León, according to official information. After repelling the attack, military personnel carried out a security deployment in the area and located high-caliber weapons along with a vehicle allegedly linked to the incident. During the search of the area, the following were seized: - 2 Barrett rifles - 6 long guns - 20 loaded magazines - More than 550 rounds of ammunition - 1 vehicle. No arrests were reported. The armored patrol sustained bullet impacts, and the area was placed under military guard while search operations continue.
