Military equipment was located by federal forces and security agencies; the case was turned over to the Attorney General's Office (FGR). Members of the Interinstitutional Group, comprised of the Mexican Army and security agencies, seized magazines and ammunition during surveillance operations in the municipality of Escuinapa, Sinaloa, according to official reports. According to authorities, the material was located during security patrols in the area. Following the discovery, the weapons were secured according to protocol and transferred for legal safekeeping. The seized items included: - 15 unloaded magazines - 565 rounds of .223 / 5.56 mm ammunition. The material was placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office of the Attorney General's Office, which will compile the corresponding investigation file to determine its origin. Authorities indicated that these types of actions are part of the surveillance operations that are maintained in the region.
