The person recording, likely a sicario in the group, is armed with a short-barreled Colt AR-15 rifle equipped with an inexpensive red dot sight (a common optic widely available for purchase online). This kind of display is typical in zones of active cartel rivalry, where groups project force and control over disputed territories.
