A fierce armed confrontation took place Sunday morning in the mountainous region of the municipality of Buenavista, particularly near the town of Santa Ana Amatlán, where federal forces clashed with suspected members of a criminal group. According to reports from residents, gunfire began early in the morning in the hills surrounding the community, prompting a large-scale military deployment by land and air. During the operation, a Black Hawk attack helicopter was seen flying at low altitude and firing on targets on the ground, while a military aircraft provided air support for the troops deployed in the area. The specialized platform Flightradar24 detected a Beechcraft King Air 350ER aircraft belonging to the Mexican Navy, a turboprop plane used for surveillance, reconnaissance, and special operations missions.
