Six people arrested with nine rifles and suspected methamphetamine in operation by the Michoacán State Police and Army in Morelia. The operation, a coordinated effort between state and federal forces, took place in a residential neighborhood. According to the Michoacán State Police, officers from the State Police and the National Defense Secretariat (SSP) conducted an operation on Fuente de Villalongín Street in the Fuentes de Morelia neighborhood, resulting in the arrest of six people. During the operation, authorities reported the following items: nine 7.62x39mm rifles, one 9mm handgun, 16 standard magazines and three drum magazines, doses of a substance suspected to be methamphetamine, one set of license plates reported stolen, and three vehicles. According to the official report, the detainees and all the seized items were turned over to the investigating authorities. The SSP reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining coordinated operations to guarantee the safety of Michoacán residents.
