SAA event in Mexico on Thu 9th April 2026
9th April 2026
Two men identified as Francisco Manuel "N," nicknamed "Menny," and Omar "N," were formally charged by a judge in Sonora. The operation that led to their arrest occurred after an armed attack against agents of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AMIC), who repelled the attack in the municipality of Ímuris. According to reports from the Sonora State Attorney General's Office (FGJES), "Menny" is considered a high-priority target and second-in-command of a criminal cell. Official reports indicate that the accused initially belonged to the faction of "El Ponchis," but later joined a rival group. He faced charges of aggravated kidnapping, criminal association, and corruption of minors. After the hearing, it was determined that there is sufficient evidence to investigate his alleged responsibility for crimes committed against society and law enforcement officers.
