Collaborator and Gauleiter of the occupied part of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, stated that a Ukrainian drone allegedly attacked a Russian dry cargo ship with wheat in the Sea of Azov.

Details : On Sunday, Saldo said that a Volgo-Balt-type vessel carrying wheat had crashed in the Sea of Azov. The crew abandoned the ship and was able to reach the shore of the Kherson region.
Nine crew members, all Russian citizens, were found ashore. One person died. The whereabouts of two other crew members remain unknown.
Saldo later wrote that on April 3, a ship carrying wheat was allegedly attacked by a Ukrainian drone. The crew abandoned the ship, and it was only on April 5 that the sailors made contact when they reached the shore near the Russian-occupied village of Strilkove, Kherson region.
There is no confirmation of this information from independent sources.
What preceded : Previously, vessels of the Volgo-Balt type transported stolen Ukrainian grain to third countries, using occupied Crimea as a kind of "logistics hub" .
