On 30 March 2026, a landmine from previous clashes planted by unknown gunmen exploded in Ein Issa area in Ar Raqqa countryside, injuring a Syrian army member. Another landmine from previous clashes planted by QSD exploded inside the town, injuring two children (thirteen and fourteen-years-old) who were grazing sheep in the area. There were no fatalities.
