On 30 March 2026, Russian forces (units of the 'North' group likely by shelling and drone strikes as the most common means) struck the Ukrainian personnel and equipment of a mechanized brigade, a motorized infantry brigade, and two brigades of territorial defense forces (coded to Myropillia) near Potapivka, Sumy. According to Russian sources, Ukrainian military lost: Three ammunition depots, a fuel and lubricants depot, eight supply depots and up to 270 Ukrainian servicemen were killed near Myropillia, Potapivka, Chervona Zoria, Kindrativka, Zamulivka (formerly Zhovtneve), Bilyi Kolodiaz, Vovchanski Khutory, Verkhnia Pysarivka and Izbytske [Russian MoD reported 270 fatalities.
