On 1 April 2026, Israeli forces fired more than 20 mortar shells from the Golan Heights, which landed in areas between Western Samadaniyeh village, Al-Mantara Dam, and Al-Ajraf village in Quneitra countryside, emitting dense white smoke without exploding and causing no casualties, and also launched illumination flares in the area for unknown reasons.
