On 30 March 2026, in Nga Pu Yin village (Budalin township, Monywa district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike on a village clinic with jet fighters from Tada-U and Meiktila airbases at around 1:00 pm. Irrawaddy reported that the airstrike killed 5 people, including a woman, a child seeking medical treatment, a patient who had just undergone surgery, and a pregnant woman. Myanmar Now reported that the airstrike killed at least 3 people, including patients; Khit Thit Media reported that the airstrike killed 3 people and injured 7 people,and Mizzima reported that the airstrike killed around 10 people, including pregnant women. Democratic Voice of Burma reported that the airstrike killed 7 people in total - including a patient and 3 women on the day of attack and an injured 3-year-old child died due to injuries on 31 March 2026, and a newborn baby's corpse and a woman's body were found on the afternoon of 31 March 2026 - and injured 15 others.
